The ideal candidate will evaluate both internal and external threats analyze business data and provide actionable insights to inform decisionmaking. This role requires a combination of critical thinking data analysis and excellent communication skills to develop effective risk management strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify potential risks across operations financial systems and strategic initiatives.
- Conduct indepth research and analysis on market trends economic conditions and regulatory changes.
- Evaluate current risk management policies and recommend improvements.
- Develop risk models perform scenario analysis and conduct stress testing to assess impact.
- Monitor key risk indicators (KRIs) and report findings to senior management.
- Collaborate with internal teams to assess risk exposure for new projects or partnerships.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on risk assessments and mitigation plans.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Assist in the development of risk mitigation strategies including insurance coverage and contingency planning.
- Stay updated on emerging risks and trends in the business environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Risk Analyst Financial Analyst or in a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in risk assessment frameworks and financial modeling techniques.
- Expertise in using Microsoft Excel data visualization tools and risk management software.
- Exceptional analytical and problemsolving abilities with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for report preparation and presentations.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with crossfunctional teams.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance standards relevant to the industry.
- Professional certifications such as FRM CFA or PRM are a plus.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Finance Economics Business or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
