Job Description
Our customer is a managed services provider in Western Europe. Our customer services large European corporate accounts and performs a variety of infrastructure operations during business hours. As the services scope now covers nonbusiness hours and weekends our customer is building a team of senior support engineers in the Philippines to provide infrastructure network application and OS support for mission critical systems and applications. This role is demanding and ideal candidates should demonstrate both technical skills and the ability to take rational and consistent decisions in a complex technical environment.
Job Duties:
System Administration: Manage and maintain Windows and Linux servers ensuring optimal performance security and availability.
Virtualization: Administer VMware environments including deployment configuration and management of virtual machines and hosts.
Backup Solutions: Implement and manage Veeam backup and recovery solutions to ensure data integrity and business continuity.
Active Directory Management: Administer Active Directory including user account management group policies and access controls.
Network Security: Configure and maintain Fortinet security appliances (firewalls VPNs) to safeguard the organization s network.
Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor system performance troubleshoot issues and provide solutions to minimize downtime.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations processes and procedures.
Collaboration: Work closely with the IT team on system upgrades migrations and security enhancements.
Training and Support: Provide technical support and training to staff on ITrelated issues and best practices.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field (or equivalent experience).
4 years of relevant experience in System Admin.
Proven experience as a System Administrator with expertise in Veeam VMware Windows and Linux.
Strong knowledge of Active Directory management and configuration.
Experience with Fortinet products and network security practices.
Excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Proven experience as a System Administrator with expertise in Veeam, VMware, Windows, and Linux. Strong knowledge of Active Directory management and configuration. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
