Job Description

Job Title: Firmware Development Engineer

Job Description:

JMA is seeking experienced Firmware Development Engineers with expertise in XU67 firmware development. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in Yocto and experience working with WG11.

This is a longterm opportunity based in the United States with positions available in Plano TX Syracuse NY and New Jersey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain firmware for XU67.
  • Utilize Yocto for firmware development and customization.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
  • Work with WG11 standards and protocols.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve firmwarerelated issues.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in XU67 firmware development.
  • Proficiency with Yocto.
  • Experience working with WG11.
  • Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in the telecommunications industry.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of additional firmware development tools and languages.
