Role: Senior Security Supervisor
Location: Naivasha
About the Role
Our client in the flower industry is looking to fill the role of Senior Security Supervisor to join there Security Department in Naivasha region.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure timely reporting of all security incidents
- Ensure that there is efficient response to emergencies at the work place.
- Preparation of monthly duty Rota and ensuring that there is a tactful deployment of security personnel based on the level of threat on a particular assignment
- Enforcing all security standing instructions as provided for in the company security manual
- Ensuring that all the security staff on each shift are properly and efficiently utilized for maximum protection of company property and personnel.
- Gathering of Intelligence reports and acting on them for the purposes of crime detection and prevention.
- Maintaining discipline amongst the security staff by ensuring that guards follow the chain of commandReporting all security breaches/threats noted during his shifts for appropriate action.
- Ensuring that proper records are maintained at the access control points.
- Efficient utilization of resources and reduced losses to the company.
- Coordinating / standing in during loading & offloading of company items
- Playing part in incident investigation & ensuring thoroughness in the whole process
- Training ensuring adherence to the training calendar & making sure training needs analysis is done
- Supervision ensuring thorough supervision to the junior staff for 100% vigilance during their shifts
- Ensuring that all security personnel are properly kitted and follow the security dress code.
- Following up on the performance of the fence team to ensure that the perimeter fence is working.
- Ensuring that all identified defects on the perimeter fence are promptly reported and repaired.
Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Criminology or Security Management.
A minimum of 5 years experience in security management from a reputable security organization.
Must have a Valid certificate of good conduct.
Must have a driving license with class BCE (old version) / BC1 & C (new) & must be renewed
Must demonstrate a high degree of honesty and integrity.
Must be a results oriented person.
Must have good cognitive and analytical skills.
Must demonstrate good communication skills.
