Job Summary:
A Senior Attorney is responsible for reading and interpreting case laws creating summaries and critical data points. Ensuring highquality standards in all research outputs and providing guidance to Junior Attorneys. In this role you will review legal doents verify the accuracy of research and conduct indepth research as needed. You will also play a key role in maintaining the quality and consistency of the legal teams output by conducting thorough quality urance checks. Strong leadership excellent research capabilities and attention to detail are essential in this role.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Quality urance: Review legal research work product of junior colleagues to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Mentorship: Guide and train junior legal researchers fostering their research ss and legal knowledge development.
- Research Collaboration: Work with the legal team to improve research ods and standardize how research findings are yzed and presented.
- Legal Research and ysis: Conduct indepth research on complex legal issues including statutes regulations and case law.
- Knowledge Management: Stay current on legal trends and disseminate updates to the team; maintain organized research databases and files.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- 35 years of legal experience with a strong focus on Case Laws and Litigations
- Possess a bachelor s or master s degree in law.
- Extensive knowledge of legal research tools and databases (e.g. Westlaw LexisNexis).
- Excellent communication and mentoring ss with the ability to guide and support junior team members.
- Strong research and ytical ss with a track record of ensuring accuracy in case laws/litigation doents.
- Sound critical thinking problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks including oversight of junior researchers work.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with legal research management tools.
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational ss.
- Experience with managing and maintaining legal research databases and ensuring high standards of data accuracy.
- Willingness to work virtually or in an office setting.
