Our client a wellestablished transportation industry company is seeking a skilled 310T Heavy Duty Mechanic to join their team in Concord ON.
Job Summary:
As a 310T Heavy Duty Mechanic you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavyduty trucks and equipment in a safetyfocused environment. You will be working in a fastpaced environment ensuring that all vehicles are in top condition and meet safety standards. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical skills attention to detail and a passion for delivering highquality work.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine and preventive maintenance on heavyduty trucks and equipment
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues and make necessary repairs
Conduct inspections and identify potential problems
Repair and replace parts as needed
Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used
Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies
Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Continuously develop knowledge and skills through training and staying uptodate with industry advancements
Qualifications:
Valid 310T Heavy Duty Mechanic license or 3rd Year Apprentice
Minimum 2 years of experience working as a heavyduty mechanic
Strong knowledge of diesel engines hydraulic systems and electrical systems
Experience with computerized diagnostic equipment
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
Strong problemsolving and troubleshooting skills
Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Valid drivers license and clean driving record
Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment and parts
Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
