    Requirement Background

    A major ATM machine manufacturer is undertaking the development and sale of ATM software. The leading ATM equipment manufacturer is gradually transitioning existing customers from older ATMs to the latest models. Anticipating an increase in software development volume in the future the company is planning to expand its software development capabilities. Consequently to ensure quality productivity and other aspects of QCD for the growing software development workload the company is recruiting a project leader.

    Industry Trends and Company Business Characteristics: In the financial industry the trend towards cashless transactions is accelerating leading to a decline in financial equipment such as ATMs. However there is an expected temporary increase in embedded software development for financial devices including ATMs in preparation for the 2024 system upgrade. Additionally the demand for DX (Digital Transformation) solutions such as streamlining operations at financial institutions and utilizing electronic money is rapidly increasing. The company is planning to reinforce its development capabilities accordingly.

    Overview of Department/Team Responsibilities:

    • Embedded software development for financial devices including ATMs and related SE and maintenance tasks.
    • DX solution software development for financial institutions and other business areas.

    Specific Job Responsibilities: The company is seeking a Project Leader for the development of ATM software for the domestic market. The Project Leader will oversee a software development team consisting of 45 designers ensuring quality assurance cost management progress tracking and risk/task management to successfully guide the project to completion.

    • Regular status reporting to clients
    • Implementing initiatives to improve quality and productivity.

    Expected Results for the Specific Job Responsibilities:

    • Improvement of QCD in the software development process.
    • Expansion of value provided to clients including the major ATM machine manufacturer and endusers (financial institutions users).
