Job Description/ Responsibilities
NOC lead should be proficient in Network skills and troubleshooting across many corp sites
NOC lead should be proficient in ServiceNow All aspects of INC Problem and Change preferably ITIL certified.
NOC lead should have proven experience in NOC with a broad understanding of network operations and IT infrastructure
NOC lead should have min of 5 years of being in a lead Technical role with team management experience.
NOC lead should be able to demonstrate ability to support and use multiple Network and Server tools.
Team Leadership:
o Lead mentor and motivate a team of NOC engineers and analysts.
o Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
o Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching and feedback to team members.
Operational Oversight:
o Oversee the 24/7 operation of the NOC ensuring the timely and effective resolution of incidents
o Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination in incident response.
Process Improvement:
o Continuously evaluate and enhance NOC processes and procedures for incident detection resolution and escalation.
o Implement best practices and industry standards to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of NOC operations.
Incident Management:
o Manage the endtoend incident management process from initial detection through resolution and postincident analysis.
o Coordinate with other IT teams and external vendors to ensure timely incident resolution.
Resource Management:
o Allocate resources effectively based on workload and priority.
o Identify training needs and provide professional development opportunities for team members.
Documentation:
o Ensure accurate and uptodate documentation of procedures and incident response plans.
o Regularly review and update documentation to reflect changes in the environment.
Performance Metrics:
o Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the NOC reporting on performance and identifying areas for improvement.
o Develop reports and dashboards to provide insights into network health and performance.
