BA/Business Intelligence Analyst/developer
Houston TX
FullTime position
INTERVIEW PROCESS: 1ST ROUND WILL BE CONDUCTED VIRTUALLY VIA MS TEAMS 2ND ROUND WILL BE INPERSON.
MUST HAVE: Development Analysis POWERBI PYTHON Operations SNOWFLAKE Excellent Communication Skills
we need a BA/Business Intelligence Analyst/developer mix type that can gather technical requirements and be the BA but can also be the BI developer and that has done/developed the actual reports dashboards and visualizations using PowerBI.
Per the managers feedback Ive updated the top requirements and skills as shown below.

MUST HAVE AT LEAST 8 YEARS OF OVERALL PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE WORKING OUTSIDE OF IT DEPARTMENTS
MUST HAVE BUSINESS ACUMEN BEYOND DATA ANALYTICS (PREVIOUS OPERATIONS EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED)
MUST HAVE AT LEAST 3 YEARS OF HANDSON PYTHON EXPERIENCE
MUST HAVE SOME EXPERIENCE WITH SNOWFLAKE
LOOKING FOR CANDIDATES THAT HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN THE MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY SUPPORTING LARGE MANUFACTURING FACILITIES
SOFT SKILLS:

3 must haves for this role are:
1. wants someone with at least 8 yrs of professional experience in IT business and data analysis with different business acumen and industries (any sort of manufacturing industry or similar experience would help)
2. at least 23 years of python automation scripting experience. Python is required.
3. they need someone who is business savvy who understands business purpose for the data they are working with be able to interact and interface with all users (c level executives different IT team members VP of Data Analytics etc.) they must be able to conduct the room and present well a good story teller.
Job Duties :

SCHEDULE: FLEXIBLE START AND END TIMES 7:00AM TO 4:00PM 7:30AM TO 4:30PM OR 8:00AM TO 5:00PM
THIS POSITION WILL BE 100% ONSITE FOR THE FIRST 13 MONTHS THEN A HYBRID SCHEDULE IS AVAILABLE WORKING 3 DAYS IN THE OFFICE AND 2 DAYS REMOTE PER WEEK.
ALL CANDIDATE MUST BE LOCAL TO HOUSTON TX.

JOB ROLE: As a key member of the Operational Excellence Group this position involves leveraging a strong background in analytics consulting and project management to drive process improvements and automation within the Aftermarket/Manufacturing domain.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 8 years of experience in a business processrelated role with a strong background in consulting project management and Python for data analysis and automation.
Exceptional conceptual thinking skills with a global mindset and expertise in Python for data analysis and process optimization
Bachelors degree in Business Data Science or a related field required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Strong proficiency in Python for data analysis automation and process optimization with a solid proficiency in Microsoft Office suite particularly Excel. Proficiency with Excel formulas pivot tables and graphing
Strong IS skillset in nonMicrosoft applications for data analysis automation and visualization
Experience with different methods for dealing with large multidimensional data sets including relational databases SQL and ETL
Highlight critical path activities that can affect project deadlines/deliverables
Maintain a high degree of situation awareness leveraging Python for data analysis and insight generation.
Arrange remote meetings and work groups with business leaders and/or SMEs in a matrixed organization
