Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and resultsdriven Business Developer to join our team in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities building strong client relationships and driving revenue growth. As a Business Developer you will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence and contributing to the overall success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Research & Strategy: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients industry trends and competitive opportunities. Develop and implement strategic plans to meet business objectives.
  • Lead Generation & Networking: Generate leads through various channels including networking events cold calling social media and partnerships. Cultivate and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture relationships with potential and existing clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions. Act as the primary point of contact for client communications.
  • Sales & Negotiation: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations proposals and pitches to clients. Negotiate contracts close deals and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing product and operations teams to align business development efforts with company goals. Share insights and feedback to refine products or services.
  • Performance Tracking: Set and track key performance metrics (KPIs) to measure success and adjust strategies as needed. Prepare regular reports for management.
  • Community Engagement: Represent the company at local industry events trade shows and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility in the Los Angeles market.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree in Business Administration Marketing or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • Proven track record of success in business development sales or a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of the Los Angeles market including key industries and business networks.
  • Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software Microsoft Office Suite and sales analytics tools.
  • Selfmotivated goaloriented and capable of working independently.
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
  • Experience in industryspecific experience e.g. tech real estate media etc. if relevant.
