Job Description

  • VHIR offers a Scientific Clinical Monitor position looking for a selfmotivated person with experience in clinical research and/or clinical trial data monitoring.


Education and qualifications:

Required:
  • Bachelors degree in Science
  • Masters degree in Science

Desired:
  • Fluency in Spanish and English

Experience and knowledge:
  • Over 4 years of experience in clinical research and/or clinical trial data monitoring
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly organized
  • Ability to work under deadlines
  • Ability to work with human study participants
  • Proficient in word processing and database management applications
  • Knowledge of auditing
  • Knowledge of good clinical practice and regulatory requirements (i.e. personal data protection)

Main responsibilities and duties:
  • Supporting CRFs and variables dictionaries development
  • Coordinating and executing all aspects of the clinical monitoring process in accordance with good clinical practice and regulatory requirements (such as data entry queries resolution and data curation)
  • Training and supporting clinical research personnel at collaborating sites in protocol procedures and implementation
  • Reviewing data collection for accuracy and completeness
  • Monitoring project status reports
  • Identifying problems in protocol implementation
  • Reviewing and solving regulatory issues
  • Interfacing with clinical investigators medical staff management lab technicians and informaticians
  • Reporting ongoing work and sitelevel problems to the Scientific Project Manager and project coordinators
  • Traveling to collaborating sites (if needed)


Labour conditions:

  • FullTime position (40 hours per week)
  • Salary: 24.00026.000euros. Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale
  • Starting date: Immediate
  • Contract: Technical and scientific activities contract linked to the project activities
