Job Title: Cyber Architecture Lead (US Citizen Only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of the cybersecurity architecture framework aligned with organizational goals and industry standards.
- Assess and enhance existing security architectures to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into all phases of software development and system design.
- Develop and maintain security policies standards and guidelines to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct risk assessments and threat modeling to identify potential security risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to cybersecurity and IT teams fostering a culture of security awareness.
- Stay uptodate with emerging threats technologies and best practices in cybersecurity to inform architecture decisions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define security requirements for new projects and initiatives.
- Create and deliver presentations and reports on security architecture strategies and progress to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology Cybersecurity or a related field; Masters degree preferred.
- Experience in cybersecurity architecture engineering or related roles.
- Strong understanding of security frameworks (e.g. NIST ISO 27001 CIS) and regulatory requirements (e.g. GDPR HIPAA).
- Proven experience in designing and implementing security architectures for cloud onpremises and hybrid environments.
- Proficiency in security technologies such as firewalls intrusion detection/prevention systems identity and access management and encryption technologies.
- Experience in secure coding practices and DevSecOps principles.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to think strategically and tactically.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP CISM CCSP TOGAF) are highly desirable.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
