Software International (SI) supplies technical talent to Fortune 100/500/1000 companies in Canada/US. We currently have a long term 10 month contract with our IT consulting client that is working with their large end client.
Role(s) Required: Functional Lead: SAP Sales & Distribution/Materials Management
Location: Ontario Canada REMOTE

Deep Knowledge of SAP Modules & SAP Certified in their area of domain: A consultant must be an expert in specific SAP modules relevant to the implementation. Depending on the project they should have extensive experience in modules. Greater than >5 years experience and have completed at min 3 end to end SAP ECC implementations.
We are looking for an experienced **Functional Lead SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) / Materials Management (MM)** to join our team. The Functional Lead will play a critical role in leading SAP implementation projects and managing ongoing support and optimization of the SAP SD and MM modules. You will act as the primary liaison between the business and technical teams ensuring that SAP solutions meet the organizations needs and align with industry best practices.
**Key Responsibilities:**
Lead the implementation and configuration of SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) and Materials Management (MM) modules to support business processes.
Gather and analyze business requirements translate them into functional specifications and design SAP solutions to address these needs.
Provide subject matter expertise in SAP SD/MM modules ensuring optimal use of system functionalities and integration with other SAP modules.
Oversee endtoend project lifecycle including requirements gathering system configuration testing user training and postimplementation support.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including supply chain finance and production to ensure smooth SAP integration and system efficiency.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives recommending SAP enhancements and optimizing business processes through the effective use of the system.
Lead mentor and train junior team members and endusers to ensure successful project outcomes and knowledge transfer.
Troubleshoot and resolve SAP SD/MMrelated issues ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
Stay current with the latest SAP innovations updates and best practices and advise the organization on their potential impact.
**Qualifications:**
Bachelors degree in Information Technology Business or related field.
**5 years of handson experience** with SAP SD and MM modules including fullcycle implementations.
Proven experience in gathering and translating business requirements into functional specifications for SAP solutions.
Expertise in SAP configuration customization and integration in Sales & Distribution and Materials Management.
Strong project management skills with the ability to lead multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with crossfunctional teams.
Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to lead and mentor junior consultants or team members.
