Job Description
Job Title: SAP Transportation Management (TM) Manager(US Citizens Only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design implementation and enhancement of SAP TM solutions ensuring alignment with business requirements and supply chain objectives.
- Manage the SAP TM team providing leadership mentoring and fostering collaboration across IT and business teams.
- Develop and implement transportation strategies within SAP TM to improve transportation planning scheduling and execution.
- Work with stakeholders to define and document business processes and requirements related to transportation management.
- Ensure the integration of SAP TM with other SAP modules such as SAP S/4HANA SAP ERP SAP EWM and external transportation systems.
- Optimize transportation management processes including route planning freight cost management carrier selection and shipment tracking.
- Monitor and troubleshoot system performance ensuring the SAP TM solution runs efficiently and resolves issues in a timely manner.
- Develop KPIs reporting dashboards and analytics for transportation performance to provide visibility and improve decisionmaking.
- Lead testing and quality assurance efforts ensuring system changes and upgrades meet requirements and function correctly.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP TM functionalities tools and industry trends recommending improvements to the solution.
- Manage vendor relationships and thirdparty service providers to ensure that SLAs and project milestones are met.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies related to transportation and logistics.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Information Technology Business Administration or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience with SAP TM including at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Strong understanding of SAP Transportation Management (TM) architecture functionality and integration with other SAP modules (e.g. SAP S/4HANA SAP ERP SAP EWM).
- Experience in endtoend SAP TM implementation upgrades and support projects.
- Proven track record in optimizing transportation and logistics processes including freight planning execution and cost optimization.
- Solid understanding of supply chain processes including transportation planning carrier management and freight auditing.
- Experience with thirdparty logistics (3PL) integration and systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with business users IT teams and senior management.
- Strong project management skills including the ability to manage timelines budgets and resources.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to develop KPIs reports and dashboards for performance tracking and decisionmaking.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA or other SAP solutions is a plus.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
