Job Description
Job Title: SAP Consultant (US Citizens only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and document business requirements design and implement SAP solutions.
- Configure SAP modules (e.g. SAP FI/CO SAP MM SAP SD SAP PP SAP HCM) based on business requirements.
- Provide expert guidance on the best practices in SAP configuration and use.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of SAP implementations from initial analysis to golive and postgolive support.
- Work with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and identify opportunities for SAP solutions.
- Analyze and map business processes to SAP capabilities identifying areas for optimization.
- Offer recommendations for improving business processes through SAP functionalities.
- Customize SAP applications to meet business needs while adhering to SAP best practices.
- Collaborate with developers and technical teams to integrate SAP solutions with other enterprise systems.
- Provide enduser training on SAP functionality and best practices.
- Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting for SAP users ensuring effective system usage.
- Prepare training materials and user documentation.
- Conduct system testing and quality assurance to ensure the SAP solution is functioning as expected.
- Document configuration changes processes and system updates.
- Create test cases conduct system tests and ensure seamless deployment.
- Assist project managers in creating project plans and timelines.
- Support the timely delivery of SAP projects ensuring deliverables meet quality standards.
- Monitor project progress and provide status reports to leadership.
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Computer Science Business Administration or related field.
- Minimum of X years of experience as an SAP consultant with handson experience in configuring and supporting SAP solutions.
- SAP certification in specific modules (e.g. SAP FI/CO SAP MM SAP SD) is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of SAP applications and modules including but not limited to SAP ECC S/4HANA and SAP Fiori.
- Experience with SAP integration tools and methods.
- Strong problemsolving skills and analytical thinking.
- Proficiency in business process mapping and documentation.
- Good project management skills including time management prioritization and multitasking.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Familiarity with the SAP Activate methodology is an advantage.
- Previous experience in the specific industry of the employer (e.g. manufacturing finance retail) is a plus.
- Experience in SAP upgrade migration or S/4HANA transition projects.
- Knowledge of ABAP programming for technical configuration tasks.
- Knowledge of SAP Cloud Platform and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
