Roles and responsibilities

In this role, you will be integral to the design process, focusing on creating comprehensive design guidelines and systematizing design files to ensure efficiency and consistency. You will also develop adaptive versions of web products, ensuring they meet diverse user needs across various devices. A critical aspect of your work will be the seamless handoff of completed designs to the development team, enabling smooth implementation.

Your contributions will enhance web products by striking a balance between aesthetics, business goals, and user experience. Collaboration is key; you will work closely with a fellow designer to brainstorm and develop innovative solutions that elevate our offerings.

Key Responsibilities

• Design Guidelines Creation: You will establish clear design guidelines that define best practices for our projects, ensuring a cohesive look and feel across all platforms. These guidelines will serve as a reference for the design team and help maintain consistency in our visual identity.

• Systematizing Design Files: You will organize and streamline design files to enhance workflow efficiency. This includes creating a well-structured file hierarchy in Figma, making it easy for team members to access and understand design components.

• Adaptive Design Development: Your role will require you to develop adaptive versions of web products. This involves considering various screen sizes and user contexts to ensure a seamless experience, regardless of how users access our products.

• Seamless Handoff to Development: You will ensure that designs are ready for handoff to the development team. This includes providing detailed specifications and assets, ensuring that developers have all the necessary information to bring your designs to life.

What We’re Looking For

We seek a candidate with strong logical thinking skills, capable of processing and structuring large amounts of data effectively. You should be able to manage your workload independently, accurately assess tasks, and meet deadlines consistently.

Proficiency in Figma is essential, particularly for larger projects where you’ll be using features like UI Kits, AutoLayout, and Components. You should be comfortable working quickly to develop concepts and unafraid to tackle projects from a blank slate.

Your understanding of the role’s requirements will extend beyond creativity; it involves a significant amount of systematization and adaptive work to meet business goals. This often means prioritizing functionality over aesthetics while maintaining a user-centered approach.

Hard Skills

Candidates should have experience working with web products and services, demonstrating strong UI design skills. You must be able to translate ideas into structured design concepts effectively and have expertise in transferring layouts to development while creating adaptive designs.

A systematic approach to design is crucial, with a keen eye for components, layout options, and overall structure. A solid understanding of core design principles such as grid systems, color theory, line spacing, and margins should be evident in your portfolio. Finally, proficiency in English at a B2 level or higher is required to facilitate clear communication within the team.
