Billing Specialist (US Healthcare Insurance) Working Hours: MondaysThursdays 9 am 6 pm Fridays 9 am 1 pm EST (9 hours MTH and 4 hours F; 40hours per week)
Salary Range: 1000 USD monthly with Quarterly Performance Bonus

About the Client: An established and rapidly growing integrative pain clinic in New York City is dedicated to helping patients achieve and maintain wellness. The clinic emphasizes a comprehensive approach to care focusing on evaluating treating and enhancing patients' overall health and wellbeing.
About the Role: We are looking for an individual knowledgeable and experienced in US health insurance and patient communication to join our growing billing department!
Duties and responsibilities: - Communicate with patients about insurance changes coordination of benefits checks sent to them necessary paperwork etc.
- Coordinate with the administrative team to ensure cohesive flow between patient’s care and financial responsibility.
- Communicate with Clinical Director/providers to ensure medical necessity of patient visit insurance coverage changes etc.
- Generate and send patient statements based on outstanding financial responsibility.
- Sending accounts to collections.
Qualifications: - Experienced with 3 years in US healthcare insurance in a patient facing role.
- Extremely organized and hardworking.
- Comfortable in a fastpaced environment.
- A glasshalffull kind of person.
