Manager Retail Leasing is responsible for managing the retail leasing activities to ensure that leasing revenue targets are achieved agreements are prepared and signed on time in accordance with the company policies. S/he is responsible for managing and motivating a team of Retail Leasing Officers.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Achieve sales/leasing revenue targets set for the retail asset department.
- Implement the retail leasing strategy policies and procedures to ensure that the operations are performed optimally and in line with the company and customer requirements.
- Initiate business development initiatives to attract local and international retail clients and other contacts to ensure occupancy rate target is achieved.
- Identify prominent brands and retail portfolios that MP can have a joint venture with.
- Validate tenancy agreements and individual tenant profiles to make sure that tenants meet all requirements.
- Supervise the preparation and provision of any related leasing forms to tenants and ensure valid accurate and complete tenant documentation in place.
- Liaise with Customer Relations Team the tenant’s movein dates to make sure that leased property is prepared and ready as per lease agreement.
- Assist in tenant renewals including identification of expiring tenancy agreements and renegotiation of lease agreements.
- Identify partnership opportunities with external service providers to enhance our capacity for managing a wider spectrum of thirdparty contracts while maintaining costeffectiveness.
- Conduct cost benefit analysis for potential tenants and provide detailed proposal to the management.
- Manage brokers and agents to ensure they have your full support and that expectations are clear.
- Ensure that the vacancy list is updated and mockup/model units are presentable for viewing.
- Address and resolve all customer complaints
Academic Qualifications and Certifications:
- Degree in Business Administration
Experience:
- Minimum 10 years of experience preferably in real estate asset sales and leasing with at least 5 years in a managerial position.
- Knowledge of the local market laws regulations and business landscape.
