Job Description

We seek a highly skilled Business Intelligence Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data analysis and a deep understanding of business intelligence tools and technologies. This role will be pivotal in extracting valuable insights from our data to drive informed decisionmaking.

Responsibilities

• Data Analysis: Utilize advanced Python skills to analyze large datasets and identify trends patterns and anomalies.
• Data Visualization: Create compelling data visualizations using tools like PowerBI to communicate complex insights effectively.
• Data Modeling: Design and implement robust data models to support business intelligence reporting and analysis.
• Cloud Integration: Leverage Azure Cloud services to build scalable and efficient data pipelines and analytics solutions.
• Power Apps Development: Develop custom business applications using Power Apps to automate processes and improve efficiency.
• Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and deliver actionable insights.

Required Skills

• Python: Advanced proficiency in Python programming including data manipulation analysis and visualization libraries (e.g. Pandas NumPy Matplotlib).
• Excel: Expertlevel Excel skills including data modeling pivot tables and advanced formulas.
• Azure Cloud: Intermediate understanding of Azure cloud services relevant to data engineering and analytics (e.g. Azure Data Factory Azure Synapse Analytics).
• Power Apps: Intermediate proficiency in developing custom business applications using Power Apps.
• PowerBI: Beginner to intermediate knowledge of PowerBI for data visualization and reporting.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SQL and database management systems.
• Knowledge of data warehousing and data lake concepts.
• Experience with machine learning and AI techniques.
• Strong communication and problemsolving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
