Job Description
We seek a highly skilled Business Intelligence Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data analysis and a deep understanding of business intelligence tools and technologies. This role will be pivotal in extracting valuable insights from our data to drive informed decisionmaking.
Responsibilities
- Data Analysis: Utilize advanced Python skills to analyze large datasets and identify trends patterns and anomalies.
- Data Visualization: Create compelling data visualizations using tools like PowerBI to communicate complex insights effectively.
- Data Modeling: Design and implement robust data models to support business intelligence reporting and analysis.
- Cloud Integration: Leverage Azure Cloud services to build scalable and efficient data pipelines and analytics solutions.
- Power Apps Development: Develop custom business applications using Power Apps to automate processes and improve efficiency.
- Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and deliver actionable insights.
Required Skills
- Python: Advanced proficiency in Python programming including data manipulation analysis and visualization libraries (e.g. Pandas NumPy Matplotlib).
- Excel: Expertlevel Excel skills including data modeling pivot tables and advanced formulas.
- Azure Cloud: Intermediate understanding of Azure cloud services relevant to data engineering and analytics (e.g. Azure Data Factory Azure Synapse Analytics).
- Power Apps: Intermediate proficiency in developing custom business applications using Power Apps.
- PowerBI: Beginner to intermediate knowledge of PowerBI for data visualization and reporting.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with SQL and database management systems.
- Knowledge of data warehousing and data lake concepts.
- Experience with machine learning and AI techniques.
- Strong communication and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
