Our client a tierone commercial bank is expanding its corporate finance team. They are seeking an experienced Team Lead Corporate Finance to drive strategic financial initiatives and enhance their growth trajectory.
Job Overview:
The Team Lead Corporate Finance will Lead the daytoday operations of the Corporate Finance team manage projects and ensure timely completion of tasks related to M&A transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor the corporate finance team fostering a collaborative and highperformance environment.
- Manage team performance development and career progression.
- Develop and implement financial strategies in alignment with the banks objectives.
- Conduct indepth financial analysis including financial modeling forecasting and valuation to support strategic decisionmaking.
- Oversee the execution of major financial transactions including mergers acquisitions and capitalraising initiatives.
- Ensure thorough due diligence accurate financial modeling and effective negotiation processes.
- Provide financial advisory services to clients including structuring and optimizing financial solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and clients.
- Identify and manage financial risks related to corporate finance activities.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
- Communicate complex financial concepts clearly and effectively to nonfinancial stakeholders.
- Work closely with other departments including risk management legal and operations to ensure alignment on corporate finance strategies and initiatives.
- Support crossfunctional projects and strategic initiatives.
- Handles market Research & Opportunity Identification Due diligence and valuation.
- Provide financial insights for corporate growth capital allocation and risk management.
- Postcapitalization integration processes and performance tracking.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Finance Economics Accounting or a related field.
- Professional qualifications such as CFA ICAN or ACCA are preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate finance investment banking or related fields within the banking industry.
- Proven experience in managing financial transactions financial analysis and advisory services.
