Job Description

Our client a tierone commercial bank is expanding its corporate finance team. They are seeking an experienced Team Lead Corporate Finance to drive strategic financial initiatives and enhance their growth trajectory.

Job Overview:

The Team Lead Corporate Finance will Lead the daytoday operations of the Corporate Finance team manage projects and ensure timely completion of tasks related to M&A transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor the corporate finance team fostering a collaborative and highperformance environment.
  • Manage team performance development and career progression.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies in alignment with the banks objectives.
  • Conduct indepth financial analysis including financial modeling forecasting and valuation to support strategic decisionmaking.
  • Oversee the execution of major financial transactions including mergers acquisitions and capitalraising initiatives.
  • Ensure thorough due diligence accurate financial modeling and effective negotiation processes.
  • Provide financial advisory services to clients including structuring and optimizing financial solutions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and clients.
  • Identify and manage financial risks related to corporate finance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Communicate complex financial concepts clearly and effectively to nonfinancial stakeholders.
  • Work closely with other departments including risk management legal and operations to ensure alignment on corporate finance strategies and initiatives.
  • Support crossfunctional projects and strategic initiatives.
  • Handles market Research & Opportunity Identification Due diligence and valuation.
  • Provide financial insights for corporate growth capital allocation and risk management.
  • Postcapitalization integration processes and performance tracking.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Finance Economics Accounting or a related field.
  • Professional qualifications such as CFA ICAN or ACCA are preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate finance investment banking or related fields within the banking industry.
  • Proven experience in managing financial transactions financial analysis and advisory services.
