Job Description
Job Title: Water and Sewerage Engineer
Location: Cairo Egypt
Contract Details: Fulltime
A leading construction firm in Uganda is seeking a skilled and experienced Water and Sewerage Engineer to join our team in Kampala UGANDA As a Water and Sewerage Engineer you will be responsible for designing constructing and maintaining water and sewerage systems for various projects in Uganda.
NOTE : (PILLARS Is sourcing for the client Various Engineeris since 2016 to Date Various Levels From Engineers to Department Heads with Excellent Track Record )
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop plans for water and sewerage systems based on project requirements and regulations.
- Conduct site visits and surveys to gather necessary data for system design.
- Prepare cost estimates and project timelines.
- Oversee the construction and installation of water and sewerage systems ensuring compliance with design plans and specifications.
- Monitor and inspect the quality of materials and workmanship during construction.
- Conduct tests and analyze data to ensure the functionality and efficiency of the systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during construction or operation of the systems.
- Collaborate with other engineers and professionals to ensure the integration of water and sewerage systems with other infrastructure.
- Keep uptodate with industry trends and advancements in technology to improve system design and operation.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in water and sewerage system design and construction.
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles standards and regulations related to water and sewerage systems.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Willingness to travel and work onsite as needed.
