You will be updated with latest job alerts via email1. Develop, coordinate, and deliver detailed process design.
2. Define technical treatment processes, including equipment selection, sizing, and related calculations.
3. Prepare preliminary process designs for water, biological wastewater, and wastewater treatment, including RO (Reverse Osmosis) and UF (Ultrafiltration) projects. This includes process design of desalination plants, membrane selection, filter selection, hydraulic calculations, line sizing, and pressure drop calculations.
4. Elaborate detailed design, including functional specifications, and defining instruments, valves, pumps, etc.
5. Prepare layouts, Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and mass balance documentation.
6. Select chemicals and perform chemical dosage calculations.
7. Prepare hydraulic calculations.
8. Prepare process descriptions, control philosophies, cause and effect analyses, and alarm lists.
9. Ensure the successful completion of assigned design engineering tasks and preparation of related deliverables.
10. Monitor and supervise the work of less experienced process engineers and assist in their training.
11. Interface with other internal engineering disciplines (mechanical, civil/structural, electrical, instrumentation, automation, architecture, etc.) to ensure coordinated designs and complete engineering deliverables.
12. Study process problems, analyze issues, and perform necessary design modifications to rectify them.
13. Specify process-related work to upgrade, modify, and refurbish systems as required.
14. Recommend design improvements using new technology.
