You work in three different teams exposed to a range of exiting projects in the Trading & Sales division. The perfect start for your future career!

The traineeship begins on 1st of April 2025 and is limited to 18 months with the option of a permanent position.

What you will do:

• Work on different operational and/or strategic tasks in your assignments and take on responsibility from day one
• Contribute innovative solutions and collaborate with crossfunctional teams to optimize workflows
• Support our traders and by analysing energy markets using statistical algorithmic and other technical tools to be able to establish trading strategies as well as research political or technical development develop tools
• The first assignment will take place at the Gas Desk: Perform gas market analysis for Eastern and Western Europe code tasks using python and data visualization with Power BI and assist in biomethane business development projects
• The second and third assignment are in the area of your interest

What you bring & who you are:

• University Degree in Engineering Mathematics or Economics (no more than 2 years of postgraduation professional experience).
• Coding skills in Python experience in data visualization (Power BI preferred) and knowledge of process automation.
• Technical understanding of the energy market
• First working experience as an intern or student employee
• Fluent in English German is a plus
• Analytical approach to solve problems Curiosity and Flexibility
• Project Management knowledge is a plus

About the Team:

You will work in the office in Baden with the flexibility to work from home as well. The fixed traineeship salary is CHF 86000 per year including several attractive fringe benefits.
