PLM Functional Consultant

• Facilitate workshops gather requirements and support the development team to ensure timely and successful delivery of technology aligned with business value
  
• Perform requirement analysis and create PLM system requirements specifications
  
• Map requirements to product features
  
• Lead or participate in delivering Proof of Concept engagements at key prospects
  
• Provide input to the implementation team regarding requirements
  
• Offer coaching and mentoring to team members as needed
  
• Professionally interact and communicate with both customers and internal teams
  
• Support the team in defining software and service requirements for project delivery and deal closures
  

Requirements

• Functional Consultant experience in New Product Development and Product Lifecycle Management
  
• Knowledge and understanding of any PLM product (preferably Teamcenter)
  
• Ability to map business requirements to product features
  
• At least one endtoend implementation or transformation experience in any PLM product for a manufacturing or hightech/electronics customer in Japan
  
• Strong ability to write clear understandable Requirements Specification documents and Use Cases
  
• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements to understand clients needs and translate them into data models and platform services
  
• Active participation in designing developing implementing PLM solutions and refining implementations based on client feedback
  
• Flexibility to business travel
  
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  
• Strong relationshipbuilding skills with internal teams and customers along with effective communication in challenging customer situations
  
• Languages:
  Japanese: Fluent level
  English: Business level
  

• Knowledge of PLM products such as Siemens Teamcenter D Syst mes 3DExperience or PTC Windchill
  
• Experience in one or more of the following industries: Automotive Aerospace Industrial Machinery/Heavy Engineering High Tech and Electronics
  
• Strong planning problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities
  
• Highly organized and selfmotivated with the ability to prioritize meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities
  
• Exceptional communication interpersonal and presentation skills
