Our client a key player in Indonesias mining sector known for its significant copper and gold operations commitment to sustainability and innovative approaches to environmental and social responsibility is currently seeking a Refinery & Casting Superintendent.
The Superintendent will be responsible for monitoring achievement of budgeted production of Gold and Silver product from gold & silver leaching
solution supplied by the hydrometallurgy area within stipulated purity range budgeted cost and timeframe through a multistage recovery process.
Additional Responsibilities include::
- Operational Excellence &Customer Centricity: Ensure packing the finished products in standardized packages as per SOP
- Profitability and Cost Optimisation: Ensure proper metal accounting to minimize losses through efficient operation of the Precious Metal Recovery plant
- Compliance & Sustainability: Review the implementation of all Standard Operating Processes and compliance with relevant statutory safety health environment norms
- Talent Management: Motivate team performance through continuous training
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Metallurgical Engineering or a related field
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in supervisory or managerial roles with 3 years of experience in precious metals refinery
- Domain knowledge of precious metal refining processes
- Understanding of maintenance practices
- Understanding of quality systems and process control tools
- Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage crossfunctional teams
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a multicultural environment
