Job Description
Key Components of SAP OTC:
1. Sales Order Management:
- Creation of sales orders in the SAP system. o Sales order types: standard rush consignment etc.
- Availability checks and ATP (Available to Promise).
2. Pricing and Conditions:
- Setting up pricing procedures (base price discounts surcharges taxes).
- Handling price conditions like customerspecific pricing quantitybased discounts.
3. Delivery and Shipping:
- Scheduling deliveries.
- Managing transportation route determination.
- Warehouse integration for picking packing and shipping goods.
4. Billing: o Generating customer invoices.
- Handling credit and debit memos.
- Integration with accounts receivable (AR) for managing customer payments.
5. Accounts Receivable (AR):
- Managing customer payments.
- Processing payment terms dunning (reminders) and credit management.
- Integration with the financial module (FI) for accurate accounting records.
6. Credit Management:
- Checking customer credit limits before sales order processing.
- Handling blocked sales orders due to credit checks.
- Risk management to minimize bad debts.
Required Skills : SAP Modules Involved in OTC: SD (Sales and Distribution): This module handles order entry pricing and delivery. MM (Materials Management): Involved in inventory control for stock availability. FI (Financial Accounting): For payment processing and accounts receivable integration. CrossModule Integration Knowledge: Expertise in how the sales financial and logistics modules interconnect. 4. Technical Skills: Experience with SAP implementation customizing SAP systems and data migration. 5. Analytical Skills: To troubleshoot issues related to order processing billing discrepancies or delivery delays.
