Job Description

Key Components of SAP OTC:

1. Sales Order Management:

  • Creation of sales orders in the SAP system. o Sales order types: standard rush consignment etc.
  • Availability checks and ATP (Available to Promise).

2. Pricing and Conditions:

  • Setting up pricing procedures (base price discounts surcharges taxes).
  • Handling price conditions like customerspecific pricing quantitybased discounts.

3. Delivery and Shipping:

  • Scheduling deliveries.
  • Managing transportation route determination.
  • Warehouse integration for picking packing and shipping goods.

4. Billing: o Generating customer invoices.

  • Handling credit and debit memos.
  • Integration with accounts receivable (AR) for managing customer payments.

5. Accounts Receivable (AR):

  • Managing customer payments.
  • Processing payment terms dunning (reminders) and credit management.
  • Integration with the financial module (FI) for accurate accounting records.

6. Credit Management:

  • Checking customer credit limits before sales order processing.
  • Handling blocked sales orders due to credit checks.
  • Risk management to minimize bad debts.

Required Skills : SAP Modules Involved in OTC: SD (Sales and Distribution): This module handles order entry pricing and delivery. MM (Materials Management): Involved in inventory control for stock availability. FI (Financial Accounting): For payment processing and accounts receivable integration. LE (Logistics Execution): Manages shipping and transportation. Skills Required in SAP OTC Profile: 1. SAP SD Module Expertise: Knowledge of the configuration customization and integration within the SD module. 2. Business Process Understanding: A strong understanding of the endtoend sales process and logistics. 3. CrossModule Integration Knowledge: Expertise in how the sales financial and logistics modules interconnect. 4. Technical Skills: Experience with SAP implementation customizing SAP systems and data migration. 5. Analytical Skills: To troubleshoot issues related to order processing billing discrepancies or delivery delays.
