Junior Machine Tool Technician
Position: Junior Machine Tool Technician
Location: Milnerton
Salary: R15000 R25000 per month (depending on experience)

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone pionate about machinery maintenance and repair eager to learn and looking to build a career in the field.
You will be trained and mentored by our two highly experienced technicians gaining invaluable handson experience in the repair and maintenance of various machine tools.

Importers and stockists of new and preowned metalworking machinery tooling and engineering accessories.
Key Responsibilities:
- ist in the repair maintenance and servicing of machine tools under the guidance of senior technicians.
- Diagnose and trouble mechanical electrical hydraulic and pneumatic issues in machinery.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Doent repairs and maintenance activities according to company procedures.
- Learn and apply knowledge about different types of machinery and their components including electrics hydraulics and mechanical parts.
- Collaborate with the senior team to ensure machines are functioning efficiently and safely.
Qualifications and Ss:
- Technical background: Certificate or diploma in mechanical engineering electrical engineering mechatronics or a related field.
- Basic understanding of machinery electrics hydraulics and mechanical systems is essential.
- Previous machine tool service experience would be a significant advantage but not mandatory.
- Handson experience through an apprenticeship or technical high school is highly desirable.
- Knowledge in fitting and turning is a plus especially if you are interested in moving into a broader role involving machine maintenance and repair.
- English and Afrikaans
- Drivers Licence

- Mechanically inclined: A strong interest in machinery and how it works.
- Problemsolving ability: Must be able to think on your feet and trouble issues as they arise.
- Team player: You will be working closely with senior technicians and must be comfortable taking direction and working collaboratively.
- Attention to detail: Precision and accuracy are critical when dealing with machinery repairs.
