Job Description

What we are looking for

We are seeking a candidate with over 7 years of proven sales leadership experience specifically in building and managing highperforming B2B sales teams within the tech industry. The ideal individual will have deep expertise in the fintech landscape across Kenya and East Africa supported by a robust network of industry contacts. As a strategic thinker they should be adept at developing and executing complex sales strategies in dynamic fastchanging markets. Significant experience working in or with tech startups particularly in the B2B SaaS space is essential. Additionally a strong resultsdriven approach with a history of consistently meeting or exceeding ambitious sales targets and driving revenue growth is crucial for success in this role.


What does the job involve

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the Kenyan market aligning with our overall business objectives.
  • Build lead and mentor a highperforming sales team setting clear goals and KPIs.
  • Leverage your extensive network in the fintech space as well as among merchants and retailers to identify and secure strategic partnerships and highvalue accounts.
  • Elish and maintain relationships with key decisionmakers in target companies and industry influencers.
  • Collaborate with product and marketing teams to refine offerings based on market feedback and competitive ysis.
  • Implement and optimize sales processes including the use of modern CRM tools and sales odologies (e.g. MEDDIC).
  • Forecast sales set targets and report on key metrics to the executive team.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends competitive landscape and market opportunities to inform strategic decisions.
  • Represent us at industry events conferences and highlevel client meetings.


Qualifications

  • Strong leadership and mentorship ss to build and manage a sales team.
  • Expertise in developing and executing sales strategies tailored to the Kenyan fintech market.
  • Knowledge of CRM tools and sales odologies like MEDDIC.
  • Excellent networking relationshipbuilding and communication ss.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams to align sales efforts with product and marketing strategies.
