Position Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Head of Engineering to join our team and eventually grow into the role of Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background experience in leading engineering teams and a pion for blockchain technology. You will work closely with the CEO on idea generation prototyping and managing a team of offshore developers. This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work directly with the CEO on idea generation and rapid prototyping to more firmly elish product market fit
- Define the technical vision and strategy of the product and company.
- Lead and manage the engineering team including offshore developers ensuring highquality code and timely delivery.
- Oversee the development and implementation of new features from ideation to deployment.
- Build scalable and secure solutions ensuring the highest level of quality and performance.
- Stay uptodate with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve the platform.
- Develop and maintain a robust and scalable architecture for theplatform.
- Participate in hiring and mentoring new engineering team members as the company grows.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in fullstack development with a strong focus on the following technologies: Next.js Node.js TypeScript PostgreSQL and Solidity.
- Solid understanding of blockchain technology and its applications.
- Experience with decentralized identity solutions is a plus
- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing engineering teams.
- Strong problemsolving ss and the ability to work in a fastpaced remote team environment.
- Comfortable working in a startup environment ideally with zerotoone experience.
- Excellent communication and collaboration ss.
- Fluency in English; Japanese language ss are a plus but not required.
Compensation:
Base salary Equity and token incentives based on level of experience.
