As a Solar Crew Lead at Ipsun Solar you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and executing the installation maintenance and troubleing of solar systems. Youll be at the forefront of our mission ensuring seamless operations exceptional service delivery and the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Technical Expertise: Lead a team in the installation troubleing and maintenance of solar systems. Demonstrate comprehensive technical knowledge and the ability to trouble independently while collaborating effectively with the office support team when needed. Responsible for leading your crew members and following all safety procedures
- Train and teach your crew members about electrical and mechanical best practices
- Verify preemble job components in the warehouse
- Layout and embly of solar modules/array and mounting hardware.
- Mechanical/structural mounting of racking modules and electrical equipment.
- Electrical wiring of solar array/system both AC and DC (Crew lead is responsible; Roof lead as they learn)
- Doent completion of completed installation.
- Clean up of the job site.
- Attend mandatory training sessions on new products installation odology and safety.
- Efficient Service Calls Management: Hustle to efficiently clear service calls demonstrating agility and problemsolving ss to address issues promptly. Coordinate closely with the project management team to optimize workflow and ensure timely resolution of client concerns.
- Customer Service Excellence: Uphold Ipsun Solars commitment to stellar customer service. Engage with clients professionally addressing their inquiries concerns and providing guidance on system operations and maintenance.
- Coordination and Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication channels with the project management team providing regular updates on job progress challenges faced and solutions implemented.
- Experience: Proven experience in solar system installation troubleing and maintenance with a track record of successful leadership in a similar role.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of solar PV systems electrical components and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Requirements
Qualifications and Ss:
- 3 to 5 years of solar installation experience
- Experience with Enphase solar edge multiple module brands snap n rack and iron ridge
- Proven history of managing multiple people and successfully keeping them motivated
- Ability to work with computer systems and mobile apps to manage project information and communication with Project Management team
- Must be able to lift 50lb
- Ability to work in extreme environments (example: hot sun cold crawl spaces etc.).
- Must be willing and able to climb ladders stairs work on rooftops and able to work on your feet for long periods of time
All Candidates must have:
- Excellent customer service ss required
- Must have a valid state driver s license
- Must have a clean driving record (example no DUI in the last 5 years)
- Must be able to successfully p a preemployment criminal driving and drug screen
Experience:
- Leadership: 3 years (Preferred)
- Solar installation: 3 years (Preferred)
