partner staffing on behalf of our Client We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in the Oil & Gas sector in Alberta. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining electrical systems for oil and gas processing plants and facilities. This role requires a deep understanding of electrical engineering principles adherence to safety and environmental standards and a proactive approach to problemsolving in complex industrial environments.
Requirements
- Develop and design electrical systems including power distribution control systems and electrical infrastructure for oil and gas facilities.
- Lead and participate in projects from concept to completion ensuring schedules and budgets are met.
- yze existing electrical systems and recommend improvements or upgrades to enhance performance and safety.
- Provide technical support during installation commissioning and troubleing of electrical systems onsite.
- Work closely with crossfunctional teams including mechanical civil and process engineers as well as vendors and contractors.
- Prepare detailed engineering doents such as electrical drawings technical specifications and equipment data sheets.
Qualifications & Ss:
- Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation with APEGA or eligibility for registration in Alberta.
- 5 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering in the Oil & Gas industry particularly in the design and maintenance of industrial electrical systems.
- Proficiency in electrical design software SmartPlant 3D PDS P&ID.
