About the Firm:
Our client is a wellelished midsize law firm with offices throughout California. Known for handling highprofile complex litigation the firm serves both public and private sector clients with a focus on constitutional law civil rights wildfire litigation and eminent domain. Their Trial & Litigation Practice Group manages cases from initial pleadings through trial and appeal in both state and federal courts.
Job Description:
As a Litigation Attorney you will handle all phases of litigation including:
- Managing cases from initial pleadings through discovery motions trial and appeals.
- Working on complex cases involving constitutional law civil rights eminent domain and other areas.
- Developing litigation strategies and drafting persuasive legal arguments.
- Managing electronic discovery and conducting law and motion practice in state and federal courts.
- Developing evidence interviewing witnesses and conducting/defending depositions.
- Preparing cases for trial particularly in highstakes and largescale litigation.
Qualifications:
- 4 6 years of litigation experience ideally involving complex case management.
- Strong research and writing ss with a proven ability to draft clear legal arguments.
- Experience with federal and state court litigation including dispositive motions.
- Familiarity with electronic discovery and deposition practice.
- Experience in eminent domain or real estate law is a plus but not required.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
