The Opportunity
Were seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate to join one of our esteemed clients a leading national law firm in their virtual office The Link. This remote position is open to candidates residing in Florida with an active Florida bar license. Youll work primarily with attorneys in the Financial Services & Capital Markets Strategic Business Unit contributing to complex litigation cases with the flexibility of remote work.
What Youll Do
Lead with Purpose: Manage all phases of complex commercial litigation including factual investigations discovery pleadings depositions and mediation.
Analyze and Innovate: Argue motions participate in arbitrations and develop strategic legal courses of action.
Collaborate for Success: Partner with team members to navigate cases in state and federal courts as well as administrative matters.
Deliver Excellence: Contribute to trials and arbitrations as a second chair while gaining exposure to construction litigation cases.
What You Bring to the Table
Experience: 35 years of experience in complex commercial litigation preferred including work in state and federal courts. Experience with administrative matters arbitrations or construction litigation is a plus.
Education: JD with a strong academic record.
Bar Admission: Active Florida bar license required.
Skills: Superb writing interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and articulate legal strategies effectively.
Preferred Experience: Judicial clerkship experience in a federal court and secondchair trial or arbitration experience.
Mindset: Proactive entrepreneurial and teamoriented with superior judgment.
Your Skillset
Litigation Expertise: Strong background in all phases of commercial litigation including depositions motions and mediations.
Legal Drafting: Mastery in preparing pleadings motions and other litigation documents.
Collaboration and Communication: Exceptional ability to work with clients and team members effectively.
Adaptability: Experience in diverse legal matters including administrative issues and arbitration.
