Job Description
- Sanitation
- Washes and sanitizes delivery carts and refrigeration inside the department.
- Completes special sanitation assignments.
- Cleans counters and sinks and coffee/tea station after use.
- Prepares and delivers floor supply to storage on the units.
- Records refrigerator temperatures in the Kitchen.
- Delivers and picks up patient meal trays; prepares bed stand for patient upon tray delivery.
- Ensures floor/patient and nursing needs are met.
- Checks with patient to assure that meals are appropriate and patient food service needs are met.
- Follows tray scripting to ensure excellent customer service.
- Utilizes two patient identifiers (Name & DOB) upon entering patients room for patient safety.
