Maritime and Healthcare Group specializes in providing exceptional healthcare services aboard luxury cruise ships worldwide. We are currently seeking a compionate and qualified Medical istant (MA) to join our medical team. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide healthcare to pengers and crew while experiencing the adventure of life at sea.

Job Overview:
The Medical istant (MA) is a key member of the onboard medical department responsible for delivering both clinical and administrative support. As the first point of contact for medical services the MA helps to ensure a smooth and efficient healthcare experience for both patients and staff. You will be involved in patient care ist in daily medical operations and contribute to the overall efficiency of the medical center.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical and administrative support under the guidance of medical professionals.
  • Manage the medical reception area welcoming patients scheduling appointments and handling patient checkin procedures.
  • Perform basic patient triage including taking vital signs and isting with essments.
  • ist with specimen collection laboratory testing and patient care tasks.
  • Support health education and vaccination initiatives for crew members.
  • Help maintain medical inventory ensuring equipment and supplies are properly stocked.
  • Process and manage both electronic and paper medical records ensuring confidentiality.
  • Participate in onboard medical training safety drills and competency programs.
  • Support audits inspections and public health compliance efforts.
  • Maintain the companys high standards for customer service and uphold core values.

Application Requirements:

Minimum experience and qualification requirements for position:

  • istant Nursing degree or Medical degree (Phlebotomy Lab technician Medical Technician etc.) or any foreign equivalent is needed.
  • Valid license from country or State/Province of origin is required.
  • Minimum of one (1) year postgraduate clinical experience is required..

Language Ss:

  • Proficiency in English both written and spoken is essential. Additional languages are an advantage.

Technical Ss:

  • Strong computer ss including proficiency with Microsoft 365 and experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.

Personal Attributes:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication ss.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse and small team environment and adapt to the unique demands of working at sea.
