About the Role: We are seeking a highly organized and detailoriented Account and Statutory Compliances Person to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely completion of all financial and statutory compliance tasks contributing to the overall financial health and legal integrity of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Accounting: o Handle daytoday accounting operations including journal entries bank reconciliation and general ledger maintenance. Prepare and yse financial statements (balance sheet income statement cash flow statement). ist in the preparation of monthly quarterly and annual financial reports. Coordinate with auditors during external audits.
Tax Compliance: o Prepare and file various tax returns including income tax GST and other applicable taxes.o Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and laws.o Research and yse tax laws and regulations to identify potential tax savings opportunities.
Statutory Compliances: o Manage statutory compliance requirements such as labour laws environmental regulations and corporate governance. Coordinate with government agencies and external consultants to ensure compliance. Maintain necessary records and doentation for statutory audits. o Compliance fulfilment of ESIPF & other Statutory laws as prevailing.
Internal Controls: o ist in the development and implementation of internal control systems to safeguard company ets and ensure financial accuracy. Monitor and evaluate internal control procedures to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
Bachelors degree/Equivalent in Accounting or Finance.
Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and statutory compliance roles.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g. Tally QuickBooks).
Excellent ytical and problemsolving ss.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational and time management ss.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
CA or ICWA qualification.
Experience in Engineering & Manufacturing Sector.
Knowledge of relevant accounting standards and Government regulations.
