- Candidates MUST be current Wisconsin residents.
- No relocation allowed.
- This is a hybrid position with 12 times a week in office.
- Oncall required.
- 1 week a month very limited calls happen. On call will not be paid.
Description:
Our client is looking for a Cisco Network Engineer to be responsible to provide strategic planning innovative solutions and advanced technical knowledge to design implement and support enterprise voice video and data services that align with the Companys business and IT objectives.
This position will provide handson technical leadership and will manage simple and enterprisewide projects from initiation to completion for the voice video and data infrastructure complex engineering environments. The Cisco Network Engineer will partner with leaders in other business unit/operational areas to define requirements and develop architecture for scalable and reliable network infrastructure to meet present and future business needs.
Tasks :
- Installation maintenance and enhancements of a global Cisco wired and wireless network that delivers voice video and data services on corporate production and guest networks.
- Coordinates and implements low to highrisk network changes according to ITIL framework independently to mission critical functional areas while following elished designs and configurations already developed.
- ist with developing standards policies and configuration guidelines. Elish and doent standards and procedures for team review.
- Perform work outside of normal business hours related but not limited to: oncall incident escalation and offhours maintenance work.
- Maintain Palo Alto firewalls best practices and recommended policies based on business needs.
Knowledge Ss and Abilities Required :
- Selfdriven to find and do the work required to move both our internal and cloud network forward
- Excellent communication ss
Ss Required :
- 3 years Experience with Palo Alto firewall
- 3 years Experience with Cisco 9K Wireless
- 3 years Experience with Cisco ISE and Cisco Prime DNAC
- 3 years Experience with Cisco Wireless
- 5 years Experience with Cisco Route/Switches
- 3 years Experience with Ekahau
- CCNA or Comptia N Certifications
Ss Desired :
- Experience writing processes/guidelines
- Python experience
- SolarWinds understanding
- Experience Cloud Networking Azure
- CCNP Certification
- VOIP experience
- ociates Degree in a related field
