THE COMPANY

Our client is a wellelished firm specialising in business services and structures recently expanded its client base acquiring 60 new business clients and isting over 30 new SelfManaged Superannuation Funds (SMSFs) clients. Founded and notably expanded by its leaders the firm offers et and planning management services with flexible fee options and collaborates closely with external financial planners. With a strong emphasis on superannuation and tax services the firm boasts a sed team comprising partners experienced accountants and administrative support staff. Actively participating in industry conferences and fostering a vibrant work culture the firm prioritises mutual trust and a shared vision for ongoing success.

THE OPPORTUNITY

This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the growth of an expanding firm specialising in business services and structures. As an Intermediate Accountant you will contribute to et and planning management collaborate with financial planners and grow your ss in superannuation and tax services.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare Business Activity Statements (BAS) and conduct bookkeeping work including monthend reporting
  • Reconcile accounts and maintain clients' et registers and journals
  • ist managers and partners in providing proactive timely and accurate services to clients
  • Communicate effectively with clients and other relevant stakeholders
  • Participate in networking events and firmsponsored activities

EXPERIENCE SS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • Completed Bachelor of Commerce/Business with an accounting major
  • Strong communication and interpersonal ss
  • Ambitious organized and excellent time management
  • Minimum 12 months' accounting experience in public practice including internships or graduate roles
