THE OPPORTUNITY
This is an opportunity for a startup accounting professional as a Junior Accountant who will be an essential member of a firm’s foundation team having recently acquired local firms on the Gold Coast. Gaining valuable experience from the ground up with a strong support ongoing guidance and tailored opportunities for professional growth.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support Senior Accountants and Partners
- Handle complete tax compliance
- Initiate client interaction to build relationships
- Assist in tax advice preparation
- Identify avenues for client business growth
EXPERIENCE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Junior Accountant or Undergraduate Accountant with 1 years' experience in Australian CA or CPA firm
- Pursuing or planning to pursue CA/CPA certification
- Familiarity with current tax legislation applying it under partner guidance
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated initiative selfconfidence and problemsolving abilities
- Effective in both independent and team environments
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
- Proficient in Handisoft MYOB Quickbooks Xero and Microsoft Office
- Eager to develop a fulfilling career
- Enthusiastic about aiding client business growth
