THE COMPANY
Our client is a boutique accounting firm located at the northern end of the Gold Coast established nearly a decade ago and conveniently located across a tram stop. Led by their partner a trusted figure in the local accounting community they offer a closeknit collaborative culture where team members manage their own client portfolios. The firm combines traditional client care with advanced technology specialising in strategic support for business owners in transport pharmacy and construction. Key services include tax compliance virtual CFO roles advisory bookkeeping and strategic planning.
THE OPPORTUNITY
This is an opportunity for an experienced Senior Accountant to manage a diverse portfolio of longterm clients across transport pharmacy and construction sectors. You will lead a small collaborative team and deliver highquality strategic financial services.
You are going to work closely with the firm’s wellrespected founder offering a trusted techsavvy environment that values innovation traditional service and community involvement.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage diverse client portfolios in transport pharmacy and construction
- Lead and support a small team to meet deadlines and maintain quality
- Build and maintain strong client relationships offering strategic advice.
- Deliver highlevel financial projects for business growth and planning
- Provide virtual CFO services risk management and succession planning
- Use advanced technology for realtime financial insights
- Ensure quality control and timely completion of client work
- Contribute to community engagement and firm’s local presence
EXPERIENCE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- At least 5 years’ Australian public practice experience
- Hold a relevant degree and completed CPA/CA qualifications
- Strong team player with a proactive attitude and eagerness to learn
- Experienced in managing offshore teams and resolving client business/tax challenges
- Skilled in financial statement preparation budgeting and financial analysis
- Detailoriented with excellent organizational and strategic thinking skills
