EDUCATION

Graduate of accredited school of radiologic technology

EXPERIENCE

• Three years QC Mammography experience

• Previous Team Lead or Supervisory experience preferred

• ACR Accreditation & MQSA inspection experience preferred

CERTIFICATIONS

• CMRT Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist either by the TDH or TMB upon hire required AND

• ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Mammography upon hire required AND

• ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologists CT M MR N or S if ARRT upon hire required OR

• CNMT Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist upon hire required

• ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic and Medical Sonographers in three modalities upon hire req AND

• BCLS Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Team training & support

• Supervise staff and oversee daily department activities

• ist in implementing & monitoring performance evaluations & professional goals

• Perform mammograms & diagnostic radiographs

• Produce quality images as defined by American College of Radiology guidelines

• Mammography: phantom images visual inspections compression checks screen contract peer reviews & monthly checklist for all mammography unit

• Visual inspections of all rooms & equipment checks

• Accurately enter patient data for patient tracking & exam verification
