Job Description

Job Overview: We are seeking a detailoriented and ytical Financial Risk yst to join our team. The Financial Risk yst will be responsible for identifying essing and mitigating financial risks across our organization. This role requires strong quantitative ss risk management expertise and the ability to yze market data and financial instruments to support effective risk management strategies.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Risk essment: Conduct comprehensive risk essments of financial products portfolios and business operations. Identify and evaluate market risk credit risk liquidity risk operational risk and other potential risks that may impact the organizations financial ility.

  2. Risk Modeling and ysis: Develop and implement risk models stress tests and scenario yses to quantify and measure financial risks. Utilize statistical techniques financial modeling software and data ytics to ess risk exposures and forecast potential losses.

  3. Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor key risk indicators market trends and economic factors that affect financial markets. Prepare regular risk management reports including risk exposure ysis risk mitigation strategies and recommendations for senior management and stakeholders.

  4. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements industry standards and internal risk management policies. Stay updated on regulatory changes financial regulations (e.g. Basel III) and best practices in risk management.

  5. Risk Mitigation Strategies: Develop and recommend risk mitigation strategies and hedging techniques to minimize exposure to financial risks. Collaborate with trading desks investment teams and senior management to implement risk mitigation measures effectively.

  6. Communication and Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate risk essment findings recommendations and strategies to internal stakeholders including risk committees executive management and business units. Facilitate discussions and provide riskrelated guidance to support informed decisionmaking.

  7. Collaboration and Teamwork: Work closely with crossfunctional teams including finance compliance operations and legal departments to integrate risk management processes and enhance risk controls across the organization. Participate in risk management projects and initiatives to improve risk awareness and mitigation practices.

  8. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends risk management odologies and emerging technologies in financial risk ysis. Participate in professional development activities training programs and knowledgesharing sessions to enhance ss and expertise in risk management.

Ss Required:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance Economics Mathematics Statistics or related field. Masters degree (e.g. MBA MS Finance) and/or professional certifications (e.g. FRM PRM CFA) are preferred.
  • 35 years of experience in financial risk management risk ysis or quantitative finance. Experience in banking et management or financial services industry is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling statistical ysis and risk essment techniques. Familiarity with risk management software (e.g. Bloomberg RiskMetrics SAS) and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau) is a plus.
  • Strong ytical and problemsolving ss with the ability to interpret complex financial data and identify risk exposures.
  • Excellent communication ss both written and verbal with the ability to articulate technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Detailoriented with a focus on accuracy and precision in risk ysis and reporting.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment with a proactive approach to managing and mitigating financial risks.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements related to financial risk management.

Compensation:

  • Performancebased bonuses and incentives may range from 10% to 20% of base salary based on individual and company performance metrics.
