Job Description

Position: Licensed Nursing istant(LNA)LTC

Start Date: 10/14/2024

Duration: 13 weeks

Location: Claremont NH 03742

Shift Type/Shift Times/Hours/Day: Days 8

Shift Notes: 8hr evenings 40hr guarantee

Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend/Holiday coverage required

OnCall Requirements: None

COVID19/FLU: COVID Vaccination Series and Booster are Required for this need. Exemptions are not accepted by this client. Please upload proofs with the upload.

Traveler Policy: The facility will not take local travelers they must live 50 miles away from the facility.

** Requested time off during this ignment MUST be noted and verified at upload. RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED!! Traveler must be willing to work July 4 and Labor Day holidays including weekends before (If Needed/Scheduled). RTO during these holidays will not be approved. NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).

  • Delivers basic nursing and restorative care within the facilities policies and procedures under the supervision of LPNs and RNs.
  • Attend reports before starting resident care and keep licensed personnel informed of significant observations in resident care and environmental conditions supply and equipment needs and performance problems.
  • ist residents with all aspects of personal hygiene including bathing grooming and dressing; administer specified skin care treatments according to facility protocol and the Resident Care Plan.
  • ist residents with ambulation and movement including range of motion turning positioning supporting or transferring; and ist residents with nutrition and bodily waste including feeding hydration toileting bowel/bladder training input and output and caloric counts.
  • Secure a safe environment for staff and residents by reacting to emergencies per facility policy such as fire drills redirecting wandering/confused residents and resident falls; ensure resident safety at all times and protect the rights of all residents at all times.
  • Obtain adequate knowledge of Resident Care Plans to provide basic nursing care; comply with elished nursing standards and policies and procedures of the nursing department and the facility; and maintain resident confidentiality and privacy.
  • Identify and utilize infection control techniques at all times; respect the spiritual belief system of residents; encourage residents to participate in their care appropriate to the residents optimal level of physical and mental functioning.
Submission Requirements
  • 1 year current exprience
  • Must be willing to float
  • Previous travel experience Highly Preferred
  • Rural/small facility experience Highly Preferred
Certification Requirements
  • BLS (AHA)
State License Requirements
  • New Hampshire

Compact Allowed

Additional License Requirements
  • NH or Compact license must be in hand at submission. The facility will not pend.
