Job Description
Position: Physical Therapist(PT)LongTerm Care (LTC)
Start Date: 11/4/2024
Duration: 13 weeks
Location: Saint Joseph MO 64505
Shift Type/Shift Times/Hours/Day: Days 8
Shift Notes: 8 hr days GWW 0

Physical therapists evaluate posture gait balance coordination and strength to develop a treatment plan to help the patient regain mobility and independence. After identifying areas of strength and weakness a physical therapist may work to improve a patients independence with tasks such as getting up from a chair or climbing stairs.
Leads guides and directs the delivery of physical therapy services in the facility by local state and federal regulations standards and elished facility policies and procedures to provide appropriate care and services to residents.
The Physical Therapist must possess:
- A valid unrestricted license in his/her state therapy discipline.
- Meet educational requirements of his/her licensure requirements.
- Valid drivers license in the state of employment.
- Knowledgeable of sed nursing home regulations procedures laws and guidelines about longterm care.
- 2 years of PT experience Preferred
- Psych experience a plus
- LTC or Rehab Experience Required
- MO State License Required (or willing to obtain)
