Traveler Policy: The facility will not take local travelers they must live 50 miles away from the facility.
** Candidates MUST have their form of transportation as this facility is located in an area where Uber and public transportation are not readily available.
** Requested time off during this ignment MUST be noted and verified at upload. RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED!! NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).
** Traveler must be willing to work ChristmasNew Year Day Block (If Needed/Scheduled). RTO during these holidays will not be approved.

- Observe each resident continuously alert to changes in mental and physical wellbeing; notify the Supervisor of pertinent observations and discuss the need to notify the physician; and receive Resident Status reports from offgoing shift and give oncoming shift a detailed report of each residents status and events of the shift.
- Accurately receive transcribe and carry out physicians orders.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the physician and make proper doentation via a computerized system of MARs/TARs and electronic doentation. Order and maintain all pharmaceuticals for the units.
- Supervise LNAs by licensing requirements under the New Hampshire Board of Nursing. ign and measure nursing staff resident care consistent with abilities job description and scope of practice and supervise the care given; and ist directcare staff with nursing care as necessary and as time allows.
- Accompany physicians on resident rounds on their igned unit(s) to address residents medical needs and to facilitate communication during the 60day review.
- Administer the provision of oxygen by facility guidelines and procedures. Administer gastrostomy/jejunostomy feedings by policy and procedure. Perform wound care and know wound vacs.
- Perform regular duties on the unit such as checking appointments for the day; checking Physical Occupational and Speech Therapy appointments; checking activity board; reminding staff of ambulation lists weights and blood pressures and doenting nutritional charts. Monitor LNA doentation and update LNA clipboard; oversight of infection control practices on the unit; ensure that the unit is clean and hazardfree. Following the chain of command report any problems to the Nurse Manager/Nursing Supervisor. Encourage LNA observations and include them when doenting and reporting.
- Admit discharge and transfer residents completing doentation and notifications as necessary.
- Complete 24hour report for his/her igned unit(s); check new orders; complete list of residents on antibiotics precautions etc.; maintain consistent communication with the Nurse Manager/ Nursing Supervisor regarding resident issues or concerns with staff; differentiating between acute and nonemergency problems; and attend all mandatory staff/educational meetings and nonmandatory meetings as igned.
- Communicate with residents families to resolve resident concerns and problems notify family members of new orders and obtain consent when necessary.
- Receive incoming calls and determine the appropriate response required.

- Follow State and Federal Regulations regarding the storage usage and doentation of controlled medications including counting at the change of shift; notify the appropriate Supervisor if discrepancies are present.
- ist with the orientation of new nursing employees on their igned unit(s). Communicate with DON Nurse Manager or SDC regarding the continuing education needs of the nursing staff and ist in the delivery of staff education and training as needed. Encourage and ign staff to attend inservice education meetings. Evaluate igned nursing staff members according to facility policy and procedure. Initiate or effectively recommend disciplinary action as necessary.
