Founded in 2019 with the support of the European Union SiPearl embodies Europes dream of mastering the technological heart of its supercomputers: the microprocessor.

SiPearl is building Rhea the highperformance lowpower European microprocessor dedicated to supercomputing and AI inference.

This new generation of microprocessors will first target EuroHPC Joint Undertaking ecosystem which is deploying worldclass supercomputing infrastructures in Europe for solving major challenges in medical research artificial intelligence security energy management and climate with a reduced carbon footprint.

SiPearl is working in close collaboration with its 30 partners from the European Processor Initiative (EPI) consortium leading names from the scientific community supercomputing centers and industry which are its stakeholders future clients and endusers.

About the role

In this role you will work closely with Vincent Casillas ourVP R&D System & Software andEtienne Renault our Software Application Manager.

What a regular day at the job might look like:

What would make you succeed in this role

• 5 years of relevant experience in benchmarking performance analysis and optimizing HPC applications on various hardware
• 2 years of experience in technical management
• Experience in RFP answering and/or collaborative projects
• Ensure a technical watch on latest benchmarks
• Good ability to extract and analyze results.
• Proven experience with C/C/Fortran programming bash and Linux
• Someone adaptable autonomous good in problem solving
• Ability to synthetize and compare
• Able to learn new skills and adapt to our challenges
• Ability to work with a community of experts on large scale projects
• Fluency in English is a prerequisite for success in this role as effective communication in English is essential for collaboration and ensuring the seamless of responsibilities.

Experience in the following is a plus

• Experience on ARM architecture
• Experience on vectorisation and/or heterogeneous memories
• Experience in parallel/distributed paradigms (OMP Kokkos MPI )
• Experience with characterisation (micro) benchmarks: HPL HPCG Stream DGEMM
  
• Proven R&D experience (publications in conferences/journals collaborations in collaborative projects familiarity with technical / research literature)
• Good communication skills
