SiPearl is building Rhea the highperformance lowpower European microprocessor dedicated to supercomputing and AI inference.
This new generation of microprocessors will first target EuroHPC Joint Undertaking ecosystem which is deploying worldclass supercomputing infrastructures in Europe for solving major challenges in medical research artificial intelligence security energy management and climate with a reduced carbon footprint.
SiPearl is working in close collaboration with its 30 partners from the European Processor Initiative (EPI) consortium leading names from the scientific community supercomputing centers and industry which are its stakeholders future clients and endusers.

About the Internship
In this role you will work closely with Miguel PuigcerverCalbo Verification Engineer at SiPearl in Sophia Antipolis.
Our design contains multiple processors with different characteristics. Each processor has a limited amount of assigned memory.
As part of the design verification we develop embedded C code that runs directly (no operating system) on different processors of our design. While there is no control of the used memory compared to the available memory it is possible to have overflows with any kind of code.
Those overflows are difficult to detect and investigate without the correct detection reaction and report. While the unmanaged overflows generate uncontrollable and unexpected behavior. The result is unexpected development delays that jeopardize the project.
