Job Description
- This position requires the ability to multitask within a highvolume concierge contact center setting.
- The pharmacy technician will assist in providing pharmacy services. Other related skills may be required to perform this job.
- High school diploma or GED. Two years pharmacy experience working under a license pharmacist or completion of certified pharmacy technical program.
- Working knowledge of thirdparty claims process.
- Ability to process Coverage Determination Requests within CMS Timeframes
- Ability to communicate all pharmacy benefits both verbally and written.
- Ability to have strong attention to detail while multitasking within a high demand environment.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Pharmacy Retail PBM Hospital Managed Care
- Experience with Microsoft Programs (Outlook Excel Word Access
- Knowledge of prescription drug names therapeutic classes and claims processin
- Knowledge of Privacy Regulation
- Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB) preferred
- Medicare Part D Experience
- Contact Center Experience
- Knowledge of CMS/NCQA regulations
- Knowledge of pharmacy claims processing
- High School Diploma
- 2 years of college
