Department/Unit: Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
Shift: Variable Shift (10hour shifts)
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Salary Range: $50 $60 per hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cardiovascular Technician to join our Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) team in Marysville CA. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing highquality care in a surgical environment and will be committed to supporting cardiovascular surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in cardiovascular surgical procedures as a surgical technologist in the operating room.
- Prepare and maintain the sterile field ensuring all instruments supplies and equipment are ready for use.
- Support the surgical team by providing assistance during procedures including handling instruments and materials.
- Monitor patients vital signs and assist with any necessary interventions during surgery.
- Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal surgical outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient care activities as required.
- Adhere to safety and infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications:
- Current certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred.
- Previous experience in a cardiovascular operating room setting preferred.
- Strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy and surgical procedures.
- Excellent communication organizational and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced teamoriented environment.
