How will you make an impact
We are seeking a dedicated and detailoriented individual to join our microbiology laboratory team as a Junior Microbiology Technician. The Junior Microbiology Technician will play a crucial role in supporting laboratory operations conducting microbiological tests and ensuring compliance with quality standards.

What will you get to do
- Perform routine microbiological tests and procedures under the supervision of senior laboratory staff following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality control guidelines.
- Prepare culture media reagents and samples for analysis ensuring accuracy sterility and proper labeling.
- Inoculate and streak bacterial cultures perform biochemical tests and conduct antimicrobial susceptibility testing using manual and automated methods.
- Monitor and interpret test results identifying microbial pathogens and reporting findings accurately and promptly.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and instrumentation including autoclaves incubators microscopes and pipettes ensuring proper functioning and cleanliness.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of microbial cultures including subculturing storage and disposal.
- Record and document experimental procedures observations and results in laboratory notebooks and electronic recordkeeping systems.
- Experience in ELISA (EnzymeLinked Immunosorbent Assay) is required.

Skills we are looking for
- Bachelors degree in Microbiology Biology Biotechnology or related field.
- 02 years of experience in a microbiology laboratory setting preferably in clinical microbiology food microbiology or environmental microbiology.
- Basic knowledge of microbiological techniques procedures and instrumentation with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing microbiological tests and recording data.
- Willingness to work in shifts as required.
